Wondering if you've found any information on your father? I have a very similar situation. My mother just refuses to tell me about my father. She says she doesn't know his last name. His first name is Walter and he was stationed in Jacksonville, Florida in 1986. That is all I know. And that he has a daughter that should be about 2 years older than me. That's it. I'd like to fine him but I don't even know if it's possible with so little information.

<a href=""></a>

First I'd ask myself why I want to find him. Do you want child support?? Do you want to be included in his family?? Do you just want to know where you came from?? My ex-husband tracked down his Bio-Dad just to know where he came from, but his was an adoption so there was more information. With information security in the limelight now I'm not sure how far you're going to go. Try sites like ClassMates to see if you can find someone fitting his description...age, work history. Also, try Air Force websites if he was in...they'll have record. Scrape up ANY information you have to help narrow the search. Peoplesearch can help but they charge. Be prepared that this man may not want to have anything to do with you. It won't be personal, but you represent a time in his life that he left behind a long, long time ago

Go to the company where he worked when your mother met him. They might have some information on him.
